Problem:

Our customers sewer pipes were blocked and overflowing. We inspected the pipes and found extensive tree roots growing inside.

Solution:

We used our high pressure water jetting to cut out and remove the roots that were blocking the pipes. As shown in the photo, we also found a high volume of baby wipes in the pipe, banked up against the roots. Baby wipes are a problem for sewer pipes and should never be flushed down the toilet. They do not break down and the catch on all the irregularities in the system causing the sewer to back up. In the bottom photo you can see that all the roots were cut out and removed, however due to a poor joint in the pipe, this will happen again. We need to excavate down to the bad joint and replace this section of pipe to provide a permanent solution.
